A bit about the Payroll Administrator role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our strong team of three to provide weekly and monthly payroll services to our SME clients.

The ideal Candidate:

The ideal Candidate would have good payroll experience. Candidates with experience working in practice or industry will be considered.

Experience in Sage Payroll would be advantageous, in addition to:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • An ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Being able to work as a Team
  • Book-keeping experience (as assistance with book-keeping work will also be required)

 A bit about the role:

We are a thriving independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leeds and seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our growing Audit team.

  • Maintain a portfolio of Audit clients
  • Assisting partners with the planning of audits
  • Prepare consolidated accounts
  • Prepare audit fieldwork at client premises
  • Managing a team of assistants at client’s premises
  • Development and training of junior staff
  • Liaising and developing relationships with business owners
  • Assist with the development of the firm
  • Report direct to the audit partners

Audit Senior Position Requirements

The Audit Senior will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with a real passion for pro-gressing in the Audit field.

You will have good knowledge of FRS102 as well as a solid Audit background and will be a forward thinking and proactive member of our team.

Experience of Pension Schemes & Charity Accounts/Audit & SRA Accounts Rules audits useful but not essential

  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Experience working within an Accountancy practice is essential
  • Broad background and experience of statutory accounts preparation, tax and audit
  • Full UK driving licence essential

 Audit Senior Position Remuneration

  • Salary dependant on experience and qualifications
  • 35 Hour week
  • Flextime and flexible working

  • CPD paid for by firm
